DECEMBER 2005 - NORTH DENVER NEWS :: TENNYSON FIRST FRIDAY OPEN STUDIO ADDITION SHINES
The Berkeley Highlands Arts District has a new gem sparkling in its midst. For the past few months, a new artist has been shining just below the surface of the historic borough. Painter Jeanne Griffin hosted an open studio for November’s First Friday Art Walk, and visitors witnessed the setting of what promises to be another bright spot in the district’s already dazzling crown.
On December 2nd and 3rd Griffin Fine Art came fully to light, displaying over 50 new works by emerging Colorado artist J. Griffin. The work, astonishingly raw with emotion and intensely alive, adds a myriad of brilliant facets to this new gem. Each piece inspires and commands, you’re sure to find at least one that evokes your personal passion and collides with your emotions, a rare find these days and certainly one worth exploring
